Kelsey Nordstrom-Sanchez

Program Manager

Kelsey Nordstrom-Sanchez is a Salinas native and proud California State University Monterey Bay alumna. She received her J.D. from California Western School of Law and an MLIS from the University of Denver. Kelsey is committed to expanding access to education and creating opportunities for historically underserved communities. She founded the Monterey County Juvenile Hall Book Club to foster literacy, reflection, and connection among incarcerated youth. Through CSUMB's Project Rebound, she met Yefry, whose passion for giving back and lived experience made him a natural addition to the book club. Together, they have created a space where books spark honest conversations, mentorship, and hope for the young people they serve.
